Prior to Belmont: Competed in cross country and track and field in high school ... in track and field action he claimed district and regional championships in javelin in his sophomore and senior seasons. 

Personal: Major is undeclared ... Has five siblings, two of which are Division 1 student athletes ... also played soccer in high school ... enjoys family time, the outdoors, hunting, hiking, fishing and camping.
