Jared Brown begins his second full academic year with Belmont University Athletics in 2026-27.

He was elevated to assistant director of sports performance June 1, 2026.

Brown, who joined Belmont in the fall of 2025, will assume greater sport coverage and department leadership responsibilities in coordination with director of sports performance Cameron Ringstead.

A graduate of Penn State, Brown also has experience at Tennessee State, UAB, and Coastal Carolina.

Brown earned his master's degree in kinesology from Georgia Southern University.

He is fully accredited by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), Titleist Performance Institute (TPI), and the American Red Cross.
