Prior to Belmont: Nicholls earned consecutive bronze medals while competing for her high school at the English Schools' Athletics Association Cross Country Championships in 2022 and 2023. Her individual achievements include a 2nd place finish in the 2023 British Cross Challenge Series, and 1st Junior Female in the 2023-24 Wells City Harriers Street 5k Race Series.
