Hanley Long begins her first season as an assistant coach with the women’s golf program.

Long comes to Belmont after a stellar four-year career at Middle Tennessee State.  During her time as a Blue Raider, she was a NCAA Regional qualifier, Conference USA Golfer of the Year, and a four-time All-Conference honoree.  In addition, she finished her career as the program’s record holder for career scoring average, 54-hole score, and most rounder under par.  She graduated from MTSU with a degree in communications last May.

Most recently, she captured the 2019 Tennessee Women’s Amateur Championship, her fourth career Tennessee Golf Association title. 

“I am excited that Hanley has joined our program as an assistant coach,” said Lissa Bradford, Belmont’s head coach.  “Her skill level and experience as a player will be a great asset for our team.”

Hanley resides in Murfreesboro.
