Kelly Bachus enters her 10th year as an athletic trainer for Belmont University Athletics in 2017-18, and first as associate athletic trainer in the Bruins' partnership with Elite Sports Medicine.

In addition to supporting the enitre Bruin program, Bachus serves as primary contact for the baseball and golf teams.  

Bachus graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 2002 with a bachelor's degree in kinesiology and exercise science along with earning her certificate in athletic training.

While studying towards her master's degree in kinesiology at the University of Texas, Bachus served as the primary trainer for the nationally-ranked UT softball program.

After earning her master's degree in 2004, Bachus became an assistant athletic trainer for Mississippi State University Athletics. While in Starkville, Bachus oversaw the track & field programs.

Bachus is a native of Madison, Wisconsin and resides in Nashville.
