Biography

2012-13: Hampered by injuries most of the year... Went 2-1 in singles and 1-1 in doubles... Both singles victories came during team wins over Georgetown (KY) and Cumberland (TN)... Named to the OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll... Also named a ITA Scholar-Athlete.

Career at SMU (2010-12): Played in 21 singles matches and five doubles matches for the Mustangs... In 2010-11, she helped the Mustangs post a 23-6 record as they reached the third round of the NCAA Championship... Earned the Conference USA Commissioner's Academic Award.

High School: Played three seasons for coaches Ned Caswell and Dustin Kane at the Baylor School in Tennessee (2008-10) after playing two seasons for coach Jerrilyn Scardina at Hinsdale Central in Illinois (2006-07)...At Baylor, her team finished second in the district in 2010 and third in 2008...She finished third in the Tennessee State School Athletic Association (TSSAA) in doubles in 2008 and 2010 and was the regional runner-up in 2010...At Hinsdale, she won the West Suburban Silver Conference Champion in #4 singles, the Hinsdale Central Invitational at #3/4 singles, and the Prospect Invitational at #4 doubles.

Personal: Majoring in Public Relations/Corporate Communications... Favorite athletes are Rafael Nadal and Brian Urlacher... Hobbies include sports, travel, and fashion... Favorite vacation places are Mexico, Europe, and Colorado... Has one brother, Ehren... Daughter of Michael Marschall and Stephanie Freeis... Born January 23, 1992 in Chicago.
