Emma Adams begins her second year as assistant director of administration for Belmont Athletics in 2024-25.

Before taking this position, Adams spent two years working within the Bruin athletic department as a graduate assistant for athletic marketing while earning her master’s degree in sport administration.
 
“Emma has proven to be quick learner, hard worker and wonderful advocate for our athletic program and university mission,” said James Woody, senior associate athletic director for administration. “She has forged relationships and earned the respect of her peers during her time at Belmont. We are excited to have Emma serve in this new capacity.”
 
Among her responsibilities, Adams assisted with fan activation, engagement with student organizations and in-game production scripting and implementation. She also recruited and managed student workers at Bruin home events, assisted with game promotion on Belmont social media platforms and served as the department liaison to the Belmont Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).
 
She also helped Belmont’s student-athlete formation department by fostering planning and executing various community service projects.
 
In her new capacity, Adams will manage logistics and internal operations with the athletic department, including game staffing, student worker training, event planning and fulfillment.
 
Adams also gained experience in Nashville as an operations staff member for Vanderbilt lacrosse, pro shop attendant at Belle Meade Country Club and assistant softball coach at St. Cecilia Academy.
 
A native of Sayre, Pennsylvania, Adams was a softball student-athlete at the University of Albany, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing and management.
