Hayden Edwards enters his first season as the director of player development for the Bruins.
Edwards oversees player analytics and video, stat keeping, and assists Director of Baseball Operations Connor Sherwood with the day-to-day responsibilities of the team.
Prior to joining Belmont, Edwards graduated from Christian Brothers University in 2021 with a degree in religion and philosophy. While at Christian Brothers, Edwards spent two years as a pitcher on the baseball team. He previously pitched for three years at Bethel University and was named all-conference freshman in 2017.Â
Edwards spent the past three years at Arlington High School and Fayette Academy, serving as a high school pitching coach and teacher.
Edwards is working toward earning his master's degree in sports administration and plans on graduating in the spring of 2026.
