Reporting to director of sports medicine Kim Anderson, Kole Winfield serves as the primary athletic trainer for Belmont volleyball and men's tennis.

Winfield earned his bachelor's degree from Shippensburg University and arrived at Belmont in the summer of 2025 after serving as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Appalachian State University. The Orbisonia, Pennsylvania, native worked with several Mountaineer teams, including football, baseball, and field hockey. He provided athletic training support and EMS first responder services at Sun Belt Conference championships and North Carolina area high schools. A member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA), Winfield holds numerous certifications.

An athlete in high school, Winfield was a varsity letter winner in both wrestling and football at Southern Huntingdon County High School in south central Pennsylvania.
