DICKSON, Tenn. – Belmont women's golfer Janet Steen was named to the All-OVC Team as announced by the conference office on Sunday night. The 10 member team was selected by the league's head coaches.
The senior from Hendersonville, Tennessee ranked sixth in the OVC in scoring average at 77.3 and posted four top-10 finishes this season. Her best finish was earning individual medalist honors at the TSU Big Blue Intercollegiate earlier this month. She will wrap up her four years at Belmont ranked second in program history in career scoring average, career top-10 finishes, and career top-20 finishes.
In addition, Steen becomes the first Belmont women's golfer to earn All-Conference honors since Lorie Warren during the 2008-2009 season.
Steen and her teammates are back in action on Monday as they compete in the second round of the OVC Championship in Dickson, Tennessee.
