Box Score NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Belmont volleyball fell in three sets Tuesday evening to Lipscomb (19-25, 17-25, 21-25) at LU's Allen Arena.
BU's Jocelyn Youngdahl (Stillwater, Minn.) led the Bruins offensively as the junior finished with six kills off 16 swings as the middle blocker recorded a .312 hitting percentage on the contest.
Libero Ellie Ivancich (Naperville, Ill.) and setter Emma Price (Fort Mill, S.C.) both added a team-high seven digs while Price paced Belmont with 23 assists for a Bruin squad that finished with a .121 team hitting percentage compared to LU's .129 clip.
Lipscomb (14-6, 7-0 Atlantic Sun) was led by junior Brittnay Estes who recorded a double-double on the night with a match-best 13 kills to go along with 11 digs.
Belmont (10-12, 6-2 OVC) returns to action this weekend as the Bruins jump back into Ohio Valley Conference play when BU travels to UT Martin for a 6 p.m. CT match with the Skyhawks.
