NASHVILLE, Tenn. - - Belmont University men's basketball returns to game action Thursday at Morehead State.
Belmont defeated Southeast Missouri, 87-75, Jan. 7. Sophomore Dylan Windler (Indianapolis, Ind.) scored a career-high 23 points for the Bruins.
Senior Evan Bradds (Jamestown, Ohio) has scored in double figures in each of his last six games vs. Morehead State.
Junior Mack Mercer (Plymouth, Ind.) has scored in double figures in three of his four career games vs. Morehead State, including a freshman season-high 17 points.
Belmont (Ian Clark, Golden State Warriors) and Morehead State (Kenneth Faried, Denver Nuggets) each have a former player in the NBA. In fact, Clark and Faried were teammates on the Denver Nuggets for two months at the end of the 2014-15 season.
This marks the 10th meeting between Belmont and Morehead State, all in OVC play. Belmont has won seven of the nine previous meetings. Each of the last four meetings in the series at Morehead State have been decided at the buzzer.
