CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - - Belmont University women's golf senior Mallory Sullivan (Smithville, Tenn.) leads through 36 holes of the 2017 F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate.
The senior worked her way around the Clarksville Country Club layout confidently, carding seven total birdies in posting rounds of 74 & 72.
Sullivan's 146 total through 36 holes is one shot clear of Shani White of ULM.
All told, Belmont is in fifth place as a team, posting identical rounds of 317.
Among other individual highlights, freshman Maribeth Peevy (Collierville, Tenn.) carded three afternoon birdies en route to a second round 76. Sophomore Julia Nittoli (San Antonio, Texas) had 13 pars in her second round 78.
The Bruins look to gain ground on team leader Southern Illinois Tuesday.
