NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Belmont women's golf team heads to their first tournament of the season as they compete at the NKU Fall Classic this Monday and Tuesday in Batavia, Ohio.
The Bruins enter the event after winning their dual match with Sewanee last Saturday. In the match, the Bruins captured 4.5 out of a total seven points contested. Redshirt senior Maddie Williams, junior Emma Kate Liu, sophomore Carlee Nanney, and freshman Ann Catherine Blackburn all earned match victories over the Tigers.
The NKU Fall Classic is a two-day, 54 hole event, with 36 holes contested on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday. It will be played at the Elks Road Golf Club in Batavia, Ohio, which will play to a par 71 and length of 6,053 yards. The field features 14 teams, including five OVC teams: Belmont, Austin Peay, Eastern Illinois, Morehead State, and Tennessee Tech.
