DALLAS, Texas – The Belmont women's golf team finished in 14th place at this week's Bradley Spring Invitational held at Brookhaven Country Club outside Dallas.
Belmont shot a team score of 322 to finish the tournament in 14th place at 965. Houston Baptist won the team title with a mark of 909, with Akron in second place at 921.
The Bruins were paced by freshman Maribeth Peevy, who finished in 46th place with a score of 240. Sophomore Carlee Nanney finished one shot back in a tie for 47th place at 241.
Other Belmont scores included: freshman Ann Catherine Blackburn (T-52, 242), junior Emma Kate Liu (T-63, 246), and senior Mallory Sullivan (83rd, 256).
Kaity Cummings of Houson Baptist won medalist honors after a three-person playoff.
The women's golf team will be back in action next Sunday-Tuesday, March 18-20, at the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate in Sevierville, Tennessee.
