NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Due to COVID-19 complications, the Belmont University women's basketball program has put its 2021-22 campaign on pause. Announced by Belmont Athletics Friday, the Bruins' home games versus Middle Tennessee scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 19 and Western Kentucky on Wednesday, Dec. 22 have both been canceled.
Belmont will remain on pause through Christmas and return to game action for Ohio Valley Conference play at the end of the month.
The Bruins begin league action on the road at SIUE on Thursday, Dec. 30 before traveling to Eastern Illinois for a New Year's Day game at Eastern Illinois.
