Middle Tennessee Preview

NASHVILLE, Tenn.-- Belmont University Softball heads to Murfreesboro Tennessee to take on Middle Tennessee State University in a single game matchup. 

The first pitch is set to go out at 5:00 p.m. CT on the conferenceusa.com

  • Belmont Softball swept Tennessee Tech University in a three game series to advance their conference record to 13-4 and an overall record of 22-11

  • The Bruins took the Golden Eagles to extra innings in the first game after tying it up 1-1 in the seventh, the Bruins added four runs of insurance in the eighth to win 5-1

  • The final two games of the weekend the Bruins secured the win in five innings, in these games the Bruins totaled 27 runs, on 26 hits, with 27 RBI

  • Elison Ollinger, Kristen Green, Cheyenne Cavanaugh, and Audrey Lyle homered for the Bruins this weekend
