Women's Soccer Match Against the Mocs Canceled

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn.-- Due to inclement weather conditions in Chattanooga the match against the Mocs has been canceled and the 0-0 match will not count. The match will not be rescheduled at this time. 

The Bruins took the field for just under five minutes before the first lightning strike. The Mocs got a single shot which was svaed by Sarah Doyle. After waiting out the alloted time more inclement weather was intended for the area. Both team's coaches and the refeeres decided to call the match. 

Belmont will begin conference play on Friday, September 16 at Indiana State. This will be the first competition in school history in the Missouri Valley Conference.
