NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Belmont women's golf team announces the addition of Ainsley Moore for the 2024-25 season.
Moore is a Nashville native, who prepped at University School of Nashville. Ranked #8 in Tennessee by
Junior Golf Scoreboard, she was a three-time district and regional tournament medalist while at USN.
On the junior tour circuit, she posted four wins and a total of eight top-10 finishes on the junior circuit, including winning the prestigious
Tennessean Schooldays Tournament last June.
"I am excited to welcome Ainsley to our program next year," said
Olivia Jordan, Belmont head coach. "Like our other four golfers coming next year, she will bring great drive and enthusiasm to our team. Plus she exemplifies the type of golfer we want to be a part of our program. I know she will make an impact on our program in the years to come."
Ainsley already has a connection to the Belmont athletic program. His older sister, Emory, is currently a junior on the women's track and field team.
Moore is one of five new golfers that will join the program next year. The other four are Sloane Biddle, Harper Edwards, Sophie Skoog, and Emilee Swagger.
During the fall season, the Bruins won one team title and posted four top-six finishes in five events. In addition, sophomore
Chloe Tarkany earned her second career individual title at The Velvet in September.
The women's golf team will begin their 2024 spring season on March 4-6 at the Huntsville.org Invitational in Huntsville, Alabama.
