Women's Tennis Falls at Lipscomb

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - - Belmont University women's tennis dropped a 4-0 decision to Lipscomb Friday from Huston-Marsh-Griffith Tennis Center.
 
The host Bisons raced out of the gates with convincing wins at second and first doubles to claim the doubles point.
 
In singles, Anastasiya Zholdakova and Meredith Roberts led their matches at lines three and six, respectively, but Lipscomb wins at first, second and fourth singles closed the match.
 
Taylor Trondson also battled back from an early deficit to tie her second set at four games each.
 
Belmont (3-9) returns to competition Saturday vs. Southeast Missouri. First serve is set for 1 p.m. from Belmont Tennis Complex.
