BARCELONA, Spain - - Belmont University men's basketball dropped a 99-92 decision to Catalonia Elite Friday in the final game of its foreign tour.

Ja'Kobi Gillespie and
Isaiah Walker led Belmont with 18 points each.

Cade Tyson added 17 points and six rebounds.

Malik Dia and
Sam Orme each grabbed a team-high nine rebounds.
Â
Dia also had five assists.

Jayce Willingham contributed eight points.

Though Belmont scored over 90 points for the third consecutive game overseas – and made 12 3-point field goals - the team was inhibited by an uncharacteristic 11 missed free throws and 22 turnovers.

Belmont University men's basketball has been a postseason fixture the last two decades, including nine berths to the NCAA Tournament.
