NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Belmont University Volleyball Program (10-19, 5-12 MVC) fell to Bradley (15-14, 10-7) on Senior Night Saturday.
How it Happened
Belmont started off hot with a huge 7-1 run to open the match. The run was capped off by back-to-back kills from
Brooke Gilleland. Bradley worked their way back in the set before a kill from
Mialee Dabbelt pushed Belmont ahead 15-10 midway through the set. The Braves eventually put together a run to take the lead and set one 18-25.
Bradley took an early lead to start the second.
Kamryn Olson and Gilleland teamed up for a pair of kills down the stretch before the Braves claimed set two 16-25.
The Bruins kept things close to start the third. An ace from
Alivia Keegan left the score at 8-10. Despite their early fight, Belmont eventually fell 13-25 in the third.
