LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Belmont men's tennis team fell to Louisville 6-1 in a match played indoors on Saturday in Louisville.
The Cardinals picked up the first point of the match as they captured wins at positions two and three. The match at number one was unfinished as the doubles point had been clinched.
In singles, Louisville earned wins at five of six positions to clinch the 6-1 match victory over the Bruins. The lone Belmont win came at number two as senior
Tomas Luis outlasted Natan Rodrigues in three sets: 6-2, 3-6, 6-3.
The men's tennis team (1-4) will be back in action this Friday as they host Samford at 6:00pm indoors at the Ensworth Tennis Center.
