MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Belmont men's tennis team fell 6-1 to #20 Memphis in a match played Sunday at the Leftwich Tennis Center in Memphis.
The Tigers earned the first point of the match as they swept all three doubles matches. Then, in singles, they posted wins in five of the six matches to claim the 6-1 win over the visiting Bruins.
Belmont did earn one win in singles as senior
Tomas Luis defeated Harry Rock in three sets: 6-2, 4-6, 6-2.
The men's tennis team (1-6) is back in action on March 4 as they face Ferris State in Winter Park, Florida for a 11:00am match.
