NASHVILLE, Tenn. - - Belmont University women's tennis wrapped up non-conference play with a convincing 6-1 victory over Alabama A&M Saturday from the Beaman Family Tennis Complex.

The Bruins had strong performances throughout the lineup, and claimed the doubles' points in relatively short order.

Viktoria Kliimand and
Vesa Gjinaj won at first doubles, 6-2, while the pairing of
Aly Getty and
Hana Sokolovic won at second doubles, 6-3.

Belmont also showcased its depth in singles, as some lineup changes did not impact results with four of five Bruins winning in straight sets.

Gjinaj defeated Ntokozo Zungu, 6-1, 6-3, and No. 1 singles, with
Anastasiya Zholdakova taking care of Alicia Owegi, 6-1, 6-2, on line two.
