FORT MYERS, Fla. – The Belmont women's tennis team fell to Florida Gulf Coast 4-1 in a match played Thursday in Fort Myers, Florida.
In a match in which on singles were played, the Eagles earned wins in four of the five positions to clinch the 4-1 victory. The match at number four was unfinished.
The Bruins did earn a victory at number three as junior
Anastasiya Zholdakova defeated Jordana Ossa 6-4, 6-3.
The women's tennis team (6-6) is back in action on Saturday, March 16 as they host Alabama A&M at the Beaman Family Tennis Complex on the Belmont campus. The match is set for 2:00pm.
