NASHVILLE, Tenn. – This week, a group of Belmont students, athletes, and staff will be doing mission work in Poland.
The group, made up of eight student-athletes, two students and two staff members, will be spending the week working with Proem Ministries at their summer camp in Zakosciele, Poland.
Proehm puts on a camp for children of Ukrainian refugees who are living in Warsaw. The children are of all ages and most fled Ukraine last year. The Belmont group will help lead activities and sports at the camp for the children.
This is the third time Belmont has done with Proehm and the sixth visit to Poland by Belmont Sports Ministries in the last three decades.
Four teams are represented in the group: Men's Basketball, Softball, Women's Soccer, and Women's Track and Field.
