NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- This spring and summer, a number of Belmont student-athletes spent some time overseas taking part in Belmont's Study Abroad Program.
Throughout the summer, Belmont Athletics will highlight the experiences of our student-athletes as they encounter and engage with new landscapes, cultures, and peoples.

Emily Peters, a rising sophomore on the women's soccer team. Emily traveled to Mendoza, Argentina with Belmont's Study Abroad Program.

Economics
What was your favorite memory?
My favorite memory was meeting all the Argentine students we partnered up with in Mendoza and exploring the city together.
Is there a specific place that you would go back and visit? If so, where and why?
One day, we went on this beautiful hike in the Andes Mountains that gave us a beautiful view of the city.
What was the thing that surprised you the most about the culture and surroundings?
The thing that surprised me the most were the people and students of Mendoza. They were so kind and welcoming to all of us from Belmont.
How was the food? What was your favorite meal?
Steak. Argentine steaks are amazing and delicious.
After being overseas for this period of time, what did you miss most about "home" (U.S.)?
I missed all of my friends and family back in Michigan.
