NASHVILLE, Tenn. - - Three Belmont University men's basketball players have been named to the 2025-26 Missouri Valley Conference Preseason Watch List, the league office announced Wednesday.

Sam Orme, and
Brigham Rogers represented Belmont on the watch list.

Lundblade, named Preseason All-MVC by Blue Ribbon College Basketball Yearbook and mid-major All-America candidate, led the nation in 3-point field goal percentage last season (.481). The 6-5 guard set a new Belmont single-season record for made 3-point field goals (104) – which ranks ninth all-time in MVC history.

The Dallas, Texas native had 20 double figure scoring games, including a career-high 27 points vs. Missouri State. He averaged 12.4 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 0.9 assists per game in 2024-25.

Orme burst on the scene as his versatility and skill made an instant impact. The 6-9 forward made 26 game appearances and nine starts, and made decisive, late-game plays in victories over Lipscomb, Middle Tennessee, and Indiana State.

The Carmel, Indiana native was named 2025 MVC All-Freshman Team. He had 12 double figure scoring games, including a career-high 20 points at Illinois State. He averaged 9.5 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game in 2024-25.

Rogers returns as the Bruins' most experienced frontcourt player and has established himself as consistent defensive force. The 6-9 forward ranked among MVC leaders in two-point field goal percentage and blocked shots last season.

The Woodstock, Georgia native posted six double figure scoring games, including a career-high 17 points and nine rebounds vs. Southern Illinois. Rogers was named player of the game following his performance in Belmont's MVC quarterfinal victory over Illinois State. He averaged 6.2 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.0 blocked shots per game last season.

Belmont University men's basketball has been a postseason fixture for the last two decades, including nine berths to the NCAA Tournament. The Bruins have won 20 conference championships since 2006 - third-most nationally over that span (behind Gonzaga and Kansas).
