NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Belmont University volleyball team (16–9, 7–7 MVC) hits the road for its final away match of the regular season, traveling to Murray, Kentucky, to face Murray State on Thursday, Nov. 13, at 6 p.m. inside Racer Arena.
The Bruins will then return home to host UNI on Saturday, Nov. 15, at 5 p.m. inside the Curb Event Center for their final Missouri Valley Conference matchup and Senior Night, honoring seniors Lilly Lutz, Brooke Gilleland, and student-coach Mary Smith.

What's Bruin
- Belmont enters the weekend 16–9 overall and 7–7 in Missouri Valley Conference play.
- The Bruins have earned league victories over Murray State, Evansville, Southern Illinois, Indiana State, Valparaiso, and Southern Illinois, while continuing to build momentum in the back half of conference action.
- Brooke Gilleland leads the offense with 318 kills, including a career-high 27 against Siena, and was recognized as TSWA Volleyball Player of the Week (Nov.11).

- In Belmont's win over Murray State, Lutz recorded her 1,000th career dig, while Gilleland reached 1,000 career kills.
- Gilleland was named Invitational MVP at the Belmont Invitational, with Lutz and Emily Warmenhoven earning All-Tournament Team honors.
- Brenna Kauffeld claimed MVP honors at the Clocktower Invitational, joined again by Gilleland and Lutz on the All-Tournament Team.
- From the service line, Belmont has totaled 188 aces compared to opponents' 122, led by Gilleland with 46.
- As a team, the Bruins are hitting .258 while holding opponents to a .206 average.
- Belmont is led by first-year head coach Fritz Rosenberg and is competing in its fourth season in the Missouri Valley Conference after finishing 11–19 overall and 6–12 in league play last year.

- Murray State enters the weekend 4–19 overall and 2–12 in MVC play.
- Senior outside hitter Ella Vogel leads the Racers with 299 kills.
- Setting is distributed between freshman Katie Titus (381 assists) and junior Paige Brock (398 assists).
- Freshman libero Halle Forester paces the defense with 184 digs.
- Head coach David Schwepker is in his 27th season leading the program. The Racers finished last season 14–14 overall and 9–9 in MVC play.
About The Panthers
- Northern Iowa enters the weekend 21–5 overall and 14–0 in MVC play.
- Cassidy Hartman has earned three MVC Player of the Week honors (Sept. 15, Oct. 6, Nov. 3) and leads UNI with 365 kills.
- Redshirt freshman Maryn Bixby has been named MVC Freshman of the Week three consecutive times (Oct. 13, 20, 27) and leads the team with 98 blocks.
- Setters Reese Booth and Sydney Golden each surpassed 1,000 career assists on Oct. 25 against Indiana State.
- Jadyn Petersen has twice been named MVC Defensive Player of the Week (Sept. 22, Oct. 13) and leads UNI with 387 digs and 23 service aces.
- The Panthers are led by head coach Bobbi Petersen, now in her 26th season. UNI finished last season 26–8 overall and 18–0 in MVC play, capturing the 2024 conference championship.
