Women's Tennis Falls to College of Charleston on Saturday Morning

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Belmont University women's tennis team concluded its spring break trip in South Carolina with a 7-0 loss to College of Charleston in match played Saturday morning in Charleston, South Carolina.

The Cougars (6-6) earned the first point of the match as they swept all three doubles matches. Then in singles, they posted victories at all six positions to clinch the 7-0 match victory over the Bruins.

The women's tennis team (1-11) is back on the courts next Saturday as they host Northern Iowa to begin Missouri Valley Conference play. First serve from the Beaman Family Tennis Complex on the Belmont campus is scheduled for 10:00 a.m.
