NASHVILLE, Tenn. - - Three Belmont University men's basketball players were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Men's Basketball Team, the organization announced Tuesday.

Isaiah Walker,
Tyler Lundblade, and
Brigham Rogers were honored, adding to Belmont's tradition of academic excellence.

Walker, the 2023-24 National Association of Collegiate Director of Athletics (NACDA) DI-AAA ADA Scholar Athlete of the Year, holds a 3.79 grade-point average in business administration.

A three-time CSC Academic All-District honoree, Walker has been named to the Missouri Valley Conference Scholar-Athlete Team each of the past three seasons.

The Wyoming, Ohio native posted 22 double figure scoring games in averaging 10.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game this season.

Walker was named to the 2024-25 MVC Most Improved Team.

Lundblade holds a 4.0 GPA in marketing. The Dallas, Texas native became one of the bright stories in college basketball this season; after scoring eight points in his first three seasons, Lundblade set a Belmont NCAA Division I era single-season record with 104 3-point field goals – a mark that stands fourth in MVC history.

The 6-5 guard averaged 12.4 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 0.9 assists per game this season and was named MVC Player of the Week and MVC Newcomer of the Week. He currently leads the nation in 3-point field goal percentage.

Rogers holds a 3.61 GPA in business administration. An invaluable and steadying force for Belmont, Rogers emerged as one of the most versatile frontcourt defenders in the MVC.

The Woodstock, Georgia native ranked among MVC leaders in blocked shots and offensive rebounds and posted four straight double figure scoring games in January conference play.

Rogers averaged 6.2 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game this season.

CSC Academic All-America selections for men's basketball will be announced April 15.

Belmont University men's basketball has been a postseason fixture for the last two decades, including nine berths to the NCAA Tournament. The Bruins have won 20 conference championships since 2006 - third-most nationally over that span (behind Gonzaga and Kansas). Belmont has won 20 or more games in 15 consecutive seasons (alongside Gonzaga, Kansas, and Oregon) and 19 or more games in 20 consecutive seasons (alongside Gonzaga, Kansas, and San Diego State). Belmont is among select programs with two or more first-round selections in the NBA Draft over the last five years (Ben Sheppard, Dylan Windler). Belmont is the only NCAA Division I institution in America whose men's and women's basketball programs have won 20 or more games in nine consecutive seasons.
