NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Last Wednesday, the Belmont Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) hosted its annual Battle of the Bruins presented by Truist on the Belmont campus.
The event featured 182 Belmont student-athletes competing in different types of games along with 20 Special Olympians.
"This year's Battle of the Bruins was an incredible night," said Ryan Neises, Belmont's Director of Spiritual Formation. "I loved seeing the amazing abilities of the Special Olympians who join us in competition, fellowship, and fun. Their joy truly impacts all of our department every time we interact with them."
All proceeds raised for the event will go to Special Olympics Nashville.
