NASHVILLE, Tenn. - - Belmont University women's tennis head coach
Ellie Burger released the program's fall schedule Monday.
Â
The Bruins will play four fall matches, beginning Sept. 19-21 in the friendly confines of the Beaman Family Tennis Complex in the Belmont/Lipscomb Invitational.
"This season presents great opportunities for our team to compete against strong programs, continue our overall development, and represent Belmont with pride," Burger said. "We look forward to the challenges and growth ahead."
Â
Traditionally, Belmont has hosted schools from the SEC, Sun Belt, CUSA, ASUN, and OVC in the three-day event.
Â
From there, Belmont will close September at conference rival Illinois State in the Redbird Invitational Sept. 26-28. Junior
Hana Sokolovic won her spring match at Illinois State's Evergreen Racquet Club last season.
Â
Belmont will head down the Boulevard Oct. 3-5 for a hidden dual vs. Lipscomb.
Â
The fall slate culminates Oct. 16-21 in Knoxville, Tennessee for the ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championships. Sokolovic and teammate
Libbie Hamilton each recorded singles victories in last year's event.
Â
Belmont welcomes seven newcomers in coach Burger's inaugural recruiting class in Nashville.
Â
The Bruins, who reached 2025 Missouri Valley Conference semifinals, led the athletic department with a spring GPA of 3.948.
