NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Off to the best start in program history, the Belmont University men's soccer team returns to E.S. Rose Park and the Music City Tuesday evening for a non-conference matchup with Bellarmine. Kickoff from Nashville is set for 6:30 p.m.

Admission at Rose Park is always free, and Belmont soccer trucker hats will be given away to fans in attendance beginning one hour before kickoff while supplies last.

What's Bruin
- For the first time ever, the Bruins are 3-0-0.
- Through the first three matches of the season, Belmont has outscored its opponents 5-1.
- The Bruins are coming off back-to-back road shutouts, including a 1-nil victory at Harvard University this past Friday night and a 2-0 win at Memphis on Sunday, Aug. 24.
- Redshirt junior forward Brock Kiper provided the game-winning goal against the Crimson last Friday with a 61st-minute header off a feed into the box from senior midfielder Brad Dildy and a direct ball from senior midfielder Oscar Hough.
- For the second consecutive season, Belmont has secured back-to-back shutouts.
- The Bruins' win at Harvard was their first-ever matchup with the Crimson.
- Belmont's road triumph over the Tigers was the Bruins' first-ever win at Memphis.
- Kiper, who has scored in each of the last two matches, extended his team lead in both career goals (10) and points (22) with his game-winning header at Harvard.
- Graduate goalkeeper Grant Calvert, who has posted consecutive clean sheets, has tallied nine career shutouts.
- Four Belmont players have accounted for the Bruins' first five goals this season – Kiper (2), graduate defender Parker Forbes (1), sophomore midfielder Louis Peña (1) and freshman forward Jaxon Stokes (1).
- The Bruins have earned a result in six of their last seven matches going back to last season.
- Belmont has gone unbeaten for five-straight matches dating back to Oct. 25 of last year. It is the Bruins' longest unbeaten streak since the latter part of the 2022 season.

- Belmont has posted a result in 34 of its last 40 matches at Rose Park, outscoring its opponents 58-27 during that stretch.
- Since the start of the 2018 season, the Bruins are 30-12-11 at home.
- Belmont has finished .500 or better at home for seven consecutive seasons.
Versus Bellarmine
- The Bruins and the Knights are meeting on the pitch for the seventh time with Belmont holding a 3-1-2 lead in the series.
- In each of the last five matches between the two teams, the Bruins have earned a result.
- Belmont has defeated Bellarmine 1-0 in each of the last two matchups at Rose Park.
- The Bruins are 2-1-0 against the Knights in Nashville with their lone loss in the series coming in 1994.
- Last September, Belmont and Bellarmine played to a 1-1 draw in Louisville, Kentucky. It was the second-straight 1-1 draw in the series on the Knights' home turf.
About the Knights
- Bellarmine is led by longtime head coach Tim Chastonay, who is the father of Bruin great AJ Chastonay (2020-24). AJ, alongside teammate Eric Stiles, finished as Belmont's winningest player in program history with 40 match wins in five seasons. He is also the Bruins' record holder for career starts (76) and minutes played (6,009).
- The Knights (1-1-1) topped Xavier 3-1 Saturday night for their first win of the season.
- Bellarmine began its 2025 campaign with a 1-1 tie at fellow MVC member Evansville and a 1-0 loss at Kentucky.
- The Knights were picked eighth out of eight teams in the Atlantic Sun Conference Preseason Coaches Poll after tying for sixth last season with a 2-3-2 conference record and going 5-6-5 overall.
- Two seasons ago, Bellarmine reached the ASUN Championship title match after tying for second in the regular season.
- The Knights feature Preseason All-ASUN selection Rhys Davies (defender) and fellow defender Jeffrey Cox, who is the younger brother of former Belmont star Case Cox (2021-24). A United Soccer Coaches All-West Region First Team performer, Case was named to the 2023 MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List.
