Chattanooga, Tenn. – Belmont University Women's Soccer came up short on Sunday afternoon, dropping a 4–2 decision to Chattanooga at Max Finley Stadium.
The Bruins battled back twice in the match, but a strong second-half surge from the Mocs proved decisive. After Chattanooga opened the scoring in the 20th minute, Belmont quickly responded as Sami Bird netted the equalizer less than four minutes later. The Mocs regained the lead before halftime, but Reagan Ross struck in the 61st minute, finishing off an assist from Laken Whittington to bring the score level at 2–2.
Chattanooga pulled ahead for good with goals in the 74th and 76th minutes, sealing the result despite a resilient effort from the Bruins.
Goalkeeper Sydney Jones stayed busy all afternoon, recording a season-high 10 saves while facing 24 total shots from the Mocs. Belmont was efficient with its chances, scoring twice on three shots on goal.

- Lillie Tabor continued her iron woman streak, playing all 90 minutes once again to lead the back line.
- Ava Labocki provided key midfield minutes and continues to be a consistent presence in Belmont's attack.
- Sami Bird's equalizer was her first collegiate goal.
- After leading the Bruins in total shots this season, Reagan Ross broke through to find the back of the net for Belmont.
