Nashville, Tenn. – The Missouri Valley Conference announced Tuesday that Belmont forward Reagan Ross has been named MVC Player of the Week following her standout performances on the pitch.
Ross, a sophomore from Lewis Center, Ohio, played a central role in Belmont's offensive surge, recording a goal and an assist in the Bruins' 4-1 victory over Northern Iowa. She directly contributed to two of Belmont's four scores, helping the Bruins secure their first conference win of the season.
On the week, Ross totaled three points and continued to show her consistency as a starter, ranking among Belmont's leaders in both goals (2) and points (5) this season. Through 11 matches, she has logged 618 minutes, producing two goals and one assist on 16 shots, including one game-winning goal.
Ross becomes the first Bruin this season to earn MVC Player of the Week honors.
