Tyler Lundblade Named NABC All-District

Latest Honor for Reigning NCAA 3-Point Champion

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - - Belmont University men's basketball graduate student Tyler Lundblade has been named National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-District, the organization announced Tuesday.
 
The 6-5 guard was named Larry Bird Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Year after leading Belmont to a 26-6 record and the MVC regular season championship.
 
Lundblade leads the nation in free throw percentage (.934), ranks fifth nationally in 3-point field goals per game (3.59) and sixth nationally in 3-point field goals made (115). He also leads the MVC in minutes played.
 
The Dallas, Texas native - who led the nation in 3-point field goal percentage in 2024-25 (.481) - is a finalist for the Lou Henson Player of the Year Award.
 
Lundblade becomes Belmont's 28th NABC All-District selection, joining the likes of NBA Champion Ian Clark, Evan Bradds, Amanze Egekeze, Dylan Windler, Grayson Murphy, Nick Muszynski, and Ben Sheppard.
 
His 219 3-point field goals over the last two seasons rank Top 5 nationally.
 
Lundblade is averaging 15.6 points per game.
 
The All-District honors are voted on by NABC-member coaches across NCAA Division I.
 
Honorees advance to NABC All-America consideration.

Belmont University men's basketball has been a postseason fixture for the last two decades, including nine berths to the NCAA Tournament. The Bruins have won 21 conference championships since 2006 - third-most nationally over that span (behind Gonzaga and Kansas). Belmont has won 20 or more games in 16 consecutive seasons (alongside Gonzaga and Kansas; Oregon can join) and 19 or more games in 21 consecutive seasons (alongside Gonzaga, Kansas, and San Diego State). Belmont is among select programs with two or more first-round selections in the NBA Draft over the last six years (Ben Sheppard, Dylan Windler). Belmont University men's basketball boasts an NCAA-leading 19 Academic All-America selections since 2001 and is the only NCAA Division I program to make the NCAA Academic Progress Rate (APR) Honor Roll every year of its existence. Belmont is the only NCAA Division I institution in America whose men's and women's basketball programs have won 20 or more games in 10 consecutive seasons.
