NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Sophomore women's golfer
Sloane Biddle (Old Hickory, Tenn.) and senior baseball player
Charlie Davis (Paris, Tenn.) have been named Trane Student-Athletes of the Month for April.
Biddle has been one of Belmont's most consistent golfers this season. In eight events this season, she has one win, four top-5s, and hasn't finished outside of the top-20 in any event this season. Sloane leads the team in scoring average (73.5) and rounds under par (6). In addition, she has been named MVC Golfer of the Week three times, including on March 5
th after winning the Huntsville Intercollegiate.
Davis has been an offensive force for the baseball team this spring. He leads the team in batting average, runs scores, hits, triples, total bases, and stole bases. In their series with Murray State last week, he batted .533 with eight hits, five runs scored, two doubles, and a home run. Davis also ranks in the top-five in the MVC in batting.
