Rylee Spindler (Altoona, Wisc.) and freshman baseball player
Brady Holbrook (Cumming, Ga.) have been named Trane Student-Athletes of the Month for May.
Spindler is one of the top players in the MVC. She was named MVC Defensive Player of the Year and earned First Team All-MVC honors. She leads the league in batting at .456 and is the team leader in batting average, runs, hits, RBIs, triples, and slugging percentage.Â
Holdbrook has made his presence known in his first season as a Bruin. He ranks third in batting average at .294 and ranks in the top-five on the team in six different statistical categories: hits, homeruns, RBIs, total bases, slugging, and stolen bases.Â
