Women's Basketball to Host Tennessee Lady Vols Nov. 17

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - - Belmont University women's basketball will host the University of Tennessee Lady Vols Tuesday, Nov. 17 at the Curb Event Center.
 
"It is always significant to host programs of national prominence at the Curb Event Center," said Belmont head coach Bart Brooks. "I give the University of Tennessee and their coaching staff tremendous credit for their willingness to return our series to Belmont. This promises to be a special night and a great game for both fan bases to get excited about."

This marks the 13th meeting between Belmont and Tennessee. The series is tied, 6-6.
 
Belmont is 4-0 vs. the Lady Vols all-time in Nashville.
 
Each of the last two meetings have gone down to the wire.
 
Last season in Knoxville, Belmont led with 4:22 remaining before No. 12 Tennessee closed the game on a 14-2 run.
 
Then in the memorable 2022 NCAA Tournament Round of 32, Belmont led the fourth-seeded Lady Vols in the final seconds before falling, 70-67.
 
Belmont is the winningest women's basketball program in the state of Tennessee over the last decade.
