Women's Soccer Opens Regular Season vs. Tennessee Tech

 
NASHVILLE, Tenn. - - Belmont University women's soccer opens the 2026 regular season Wednesday vs. Tennessee Tech.
 
Kickoff is set for 5:30 p.m. CT from E.S. Rose Park. The match will be broadcasted on ESPN+.
 
The match was originally scheduled to be played at Tennessee Tech Soccer Field in Cookeville, Tennessee, but due to field conditions the match was moved to Nashville.

• Belmont returns five players who have received All-MVC recognition during their careers.
• Senior Laken Whittington was named to the MVC Preseason Watch List.
• Belmont played Alabama A&M and North Alabama in exhibition matches.

• Tennessee Tech went 7-7-8 in the 2025 season.
• The Golden Eagles went 6-0-3 in conference play and won the 2025 OVC regular season and tournament championships.
