Belmont to Host 2027 MVC Softball Championship

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - - Belmont University will host the 2027 Missouri Valley Conference Softball Championship, the league office announced Wednesday.
 
The two-time defending MVC Champion Bruins will serve as event host May 12-15, 2027.
 
All games will be played at E.S. Rose Park will complete game coverage on the ESPN family of networks.
 
Behind National Pitcher of the Year Maya Johnson, Belmont outscored its opponents, 16-1, en route to the 2026 MVC Championship in Carbondale, Illinois. The Bruins won the 2025 MVC Championship in Des Moines, Iowa.
 
Belmont, Grand Canyon, and South Florida are the only three programs outside the A4 conferences to win NCAA Tournament games each of the last two seasons.
