NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Belmont University Men's Cross Country team started off the season with a dominant performance at the Vanderbilt Opener at Percy Warner Park in Nashville.
Redshirt freshmen
Charley Townsend and
Jesiah Low led the Bruins, finishing neck and neck at fourth and fifth.
A mix of Lipscomb and Belmont runners took the top 15 times. Also in the group were returners
Max Malloy,
Drew Brill,
Noah Mathews, and
Reuben Macdonald, and newcomers
Liam Powers,
Carson Smith,
Harrison Kozlowski, and
AJ Algood.
Eleven Bruins finished the hot, hilly course under 16:30.
