NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Belmont University Women's Cross Country team started off the season with a dominant performance at the Vanderbilt Opener at Percy Warner Park in Nashville.
Sophomore
Sophie Nicholls and freshman
Isabella Harte led the Bruins, finishing neck and neck at fifth and sixth.
Belmont and Vanderbilt runners dominated the top 15 slots. Belmont athletes in these top spots included returners

Clara Crain, and newcomers
Sienna Anderson,
Hannah Clark, and
Effie Ward.
Four Bruins finished the hot, hilly course under 19 minutes.
