Belmont Announces Groundbreaking Partnership with Basket Under Review

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - - Belmont University Athletics announced Tuesday a groundbreaking partnership with industry-leading college basketball multimedia network, Basket Under Review, for season-long coverage of Belmont men's and women's basketball.

The partnership will encompass student-athlete features, behind-the-scenes access, game coverage, podcast segments, video film breakdown sessions with coaches Evan Bradds and Bart Brooks, social media video chats, and more.
 
Fans will also gain additional access to Missouri Valley Conference coverage as the 2027 NCAA Men's and Women's Basketball Tournaments expand to 76 teams.
 
Belmont men's and women's basketball are scheduled to face programs such as Duke, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, LSU, Iowa State, and Marquette among others this season, and participate in the prestigious ESPN Events Invitational and Baha Mar Hoops events, respectively.
 
The Belmont-Basket Under Review partnership is set to launch later this month.
 
Belmont is the only NCAA Division I institution in America whose men's and women's basketball programs have won 20 or more games in 11 consecutive seasons.
 
The Bruins boast victories over North Carolina, UCLA, Oregon, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Vanderbilt, Missouri, Butler, Northwestern, Clemson, Boston College, Stanford, Wake Forest, Cincinnati, UCF, Marquette, Villanova, Gonzaga, Saint Louis, VCU, Memphis, UNLV, and South Florida.
 
Belmont University men's basketball has been a postseason fixture for the last two decades, including nine berths to the NCAA Tournament. The Bruins have won 21 conference championships since 2006 - third-most nationally over that span (behind Gonzaga and Kansas). Belmont has won 20 or more games in 16 consecutive seasons (alongside Gonzaga and Kansas) and 19 or more games in 21 consecutive seasons (alongside Gonzaga, Kansas, and San Diego State). Belmont, Houston, and Louisville are the only three NCAA Division I programs to win men's basketball conference championships in three different leagues over the last two decades. Belmont is among select programs with two or more first-round selections in the NBA Draft over the last six years (Ben Sheppard, Dylan Windler). Belmont University men's basketball boasts an NCAA-leading 20 Academic All-America selections since 2001 and is the only NCAA Division I program to make the NCAA Academic Progress Rate (APR) Honor Roll every year of its existence.
 
Belmont women's basketball is the winningest program in the state of Tennessee over the last decade. In 2022, the Bruins became the second program in history to win NCAA Tournament games in consecutive seasons as a No. 12 seed or lower. Head coach Bart Brooks was the third-fastest head coach to 100 career victories in Division I women's basketball history (Leon Barmore, Louisiana Tech; Karl Smesko, Florida Gulf Coast) and is one of only two active coaches to win conference championships in each of their first six seasons as head coach (Molly Miller, Arizona State). Belmont women's basketball alumna Paris Lawson ('19) and Madison Blevins Hock ('17) currently serve as NBA broadcast correspondents.
