Women's Soccer Head to Northern Iowa to Continue MVC Play

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa - - Belmont University women's soccer heads to Cedar Falls, Iowa this weekend as they take on Northern Iowa on Sunday.
 
Kickoff is set for 1:00 p.m. CT from UNI Soccer Field. Live stats will be provided and the game will be streamed on ESPN+.

WHAT'S BRUIN

• The Bruins start the season off 2-3-4 coming off a historic  5-2 victory over UIC to start conference play 1-0.
• Five different scorers got the job done for the Bruins, scoring the most goals in a conference match since 2013.
• Lillie Tabor is coming off a three assist performance and is looking to carry that momentum into Cedar Falls.

About The Panthers

• Last season UNI finished 9-4-3 and 1-6-2 in conference play.
• The Panthers currently stand at 0-8-1 and are 0-1 to start conference play.
• UNI are coming off a 2-0 loss against Indiana State in their conference opener.

Series History

• Belmont and UNI meet for the sixth time in program history with their first match up coming in 2022 when the Bruins joined the MVC.
• The last time these two teams met resulted in a 4-1 Bruin victory at Rose Park.
• Belmont is looking to even up their all time record against UNI with their record against UNI being 1-2-2.
