“We are very excited about adding Coach Hennemann to our staff,” head coach Dave Jarvis said of Hennemann’s hiring. “His work ethic character, passion and love for the game will be a tremendous asset to our program. I am very excited about what the future holds for him and his coaching career.”

In his first season with Memphis, the Pawnee, Ill., native led the team in hitting (.299), on-base percentage (.422) and had the longest hit streak of the season at 12 games. Hennemann also led the Tigers in hitting during American Athletic Conference play, hitting .377 in 23 starts.

Prior to Memphis, Hennemann played in 92 games with 80 starts in two seasons at Eastern Illinois.
