Head coach David Costa announced Andy Robertson as the Bruins' new goalkeeper coach on July 30, 2025.

Currently the ECNL boys director at the Tennessee Soccer Club (TSC), Robertson brings 10 years of NCAA Division II head coaching experience to Belmont. He also serves as TSC USL League Two head coach after serving as TSC U15-U19 assistant director from 2023-24 and TSC USL League Two assistant coach in 2022.

A native of Dumbarton, Scotland, Robertson was the head coach at Delta State in Cleveland, Mississippi, from 2014-23. Named interim head coach of the Statesmen in 2014, Robertson had the interim tag removed following his first season. Prior to taking over the Delta State program, Robertson was a graduate assistant and goalkeeper coach for the Statesmen.

A four-year starting goalkeeper at NAIA Northwood University (Fla.), now Keiser University, Robertson was a first-team all-conference selection and posted a school-record 21 shutouts. He helped lead the Seahawks to the NAIA National Tournament after capturing both a regular season and conference tournament championship.

Robertson holds several coaching licenses, including a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) 'B' License, United Soccer Clubs (USC) National Diploma, Scottish Football Association (SFA) Level I Talent ID and SFA Level I Goalkeeping License.

In 2011, Robertson graduated with his bachelor's degree in entertainment and sport promotion management from Northwood and added a Master of Science degree in sports management from Delta State in 2014.

Robertson resides in Franklin, Tennessee.
