Matt Crahan begins his sixth year at Belmont in 2022-23, and second after being elevated to associate athletic trainer.

Crahan serves as point of contact for men's soccer and men's and women's track & field.

Crahan arrived Belmont following a two year stint as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Mississippi State University where he earned his master’s degree in exercise physiology. While at MSU, Crahan helped provide medical coverage for the men’s and women’s cross country and track and field teams.

Crahan received his bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Washington State University and also completed a one-year athletic training internship at WSU.

Originally from Federal Way, Washington, Crahan enjoys participating in and watching sports, traveling, and trying new restaurants in his free time.

Matt is married to Marissa Crahan and has two dogs; Biscuit and Waffles. They reside in Nolensville.
